This mapset will show you legal descriptions for the entire state of Montana. Set your map view to north up and you will be able to determine which quarter-quarter you're in. This mapset should prove useful for any state/government agency in Montana who still uses legal description data . Very handy for field work and data collection. The data is taken from NRIS TRS datasets converted into Garmin format.

TIP: You can view the Section# your in by panning slightly in any direction. The easiest way to see the Township and Range is to do a search of cities nearest to your proximity. The first TR number that shows up in that list will be the one that is closest to you, hence the one that you're in.
